Friday Update – January 11, 2019

Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!

One of our favorite times of the year is coming up in just a couple of weeks- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service! Did you know that Philadelphia hosts the largest King Day event in the nation? Our team is immensely passionate and dedicated to serving others, and each year our employees participate in community service projects across the area, so I thought I would take this opportunity to highlight some organizations that as a company, we are proud to support:

Girls, Inc. – A non-profit organization with the central goal of empowering and inspiring girls and young women to be strong, smart and bold.
Young Men and Women in Charge (YMWIC) – a foundation whose goal is to empower and prepare economically disadvantaged and historically underrepresented youth to excel and become leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers through academic tutoring, mentoring and financial assistance programs accomplished by leveraging alliances with K-12 school districts, universities, corporations, and our committed partners.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia – a pediatric healthcare facility and primary care provider, offering the best available care and support for kids.
Fred’s Footsteps – provides interim funds for otherwise financially stable families to help them handle the financial burden of a child’s illness or traumatic injury.
CurePSP – the leading nonprofit organization working to improve awareness, education, care and cure for devastating prime of life neurodegenerative diseases. These include progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), multiple system atrophy (MSA) and others.
Lutheran Settlement House – LSH is a multifaceted service organization serving vulnerable children, adults, and families living in inner city Philadelphia, that offers a variety of programs to empower individuals and strengthen communities across the city, including Bilingual Domestic Violence Program (BDVP), Community Education and Employment Department (CEED), Homeless Services (Jane Addams Place), Senior Services (Senior Center) and Medical Advocacy.
The Fred and Suzanne Biesecker Pediatric Liver Center – a world leader in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric liver diseases.

We are truly thankful for the important and selfless work that the people involved in these incredible organizations do every day of the year.

Finally, it’s time for a weekly chance to participate in our employee referral bonus plan. If you know of any friends, family or former colleagues looking for a new opportunity who would be a great fit for any of our open roles, let us know! If your referral gets placed with one of our clients, you are eligible to receive a bonus up to $1,000.00.

You can share our open roles with anybody from our website job board! Simply select the “Forward job to friend” option at the top of the job description. Or, you can check out our hot roles listed on LinkedIn!
