Every July, we celebrate the anniversary of our company’s certification as a National Women’s Business Enterprise. On July 16, 2008, Partner’s Consulting first received this distinction from The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), which certifies that a business must be at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women.

WBENC is the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs, whose mission is to fuel economic growth globally by identifying, certifying, and facilitating the development of women-owned businesses. In order to do this, they partner with various regional organizations, including our local organization, WBEC East, which includes Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Delaware.

Peggy serves on the Envoy Committee for WBEC East as an ambassador to help WBENC certified women business enterprises learn how to leverage the organization and their certification. Most recently, she participated in a workshop hosted by the Women’s Business Development Center to help attendees prepare for the WBENC National Conference & Business Fair.
