Friday Update – March 15, 2019
March 15, 2019
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!
I hope you all have had a wonderful week and are ready to enjoy the weekend! Only a few hours left!! This week in Partner’s news, Peggy had a great time at WBENC’s Summit and Salute conference in Houston. The Summit & Salute is dedicated to the development, growth, and success of women-owned businesses. More than 1000 women entrepreneurs, corporate representatives, diversity and inclusion experts, and other supporters were on hand for three days of networking and learning, all centered around finding and nurturing business opportunities for women-owned businesses. Pics from the conference are on Peggy’s Twitter page, so make sure you follow her on Twitter (and follow us too) for fun updates like these!
Finally, since St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner on Sunday, I thought I’d take a minute to go over our Employee Referral Bonus Plan, which is an easy way for our team members to add some extra gold to their pots!
First off, anyone is eligible to participate in the plan. Each week I send out the links to our website job board as well as our hot roles listed on LinkedIn. If you refer a new candidate to Partner’s who gets placed with one of our clients, you are eligible to receive a bonus!
Referral Fees are typically up to $1.00/hr. payable to the individual who referred the consultant. In certain cases, there may be more than one individual credited with a referral and entitled to a sharing arrangement. No more than $1.00 cumulatively can be assigned to an engagement.
For contract employee placements, this fee can go up to $1.00 per hour up to $1000; the fee is split up and paid after first 500 hours worked, and then again after the second 500 hours.
For full-time employees, the referral bonus is 5% of hiring fee up to $1,000, except for positions that pay more than $150K annual salary — the higher paid positions will not be capped off at $1,000.
The referral bonus payout is usually after 120 days of employment, but will be paid out according to the following guidelines:
1. After the candidate is on-boarded and the invoice is paid by the customer.
2. After the contracted warranty is completed.
Should the referral bonus exceed $600 in one year, Partner’s Consulting, Inc. is required by law to report earnings to the Internal Revenue Service and will provide Form 1099 for reporting purposes.
So now that you have a more thorough explanation of how this plan works, be sure to check out our open jobs and refer away!
Until next week, thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Katie
