Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!

I hope everyone had a fabulous first week of fall!

Last night, WBEC East held their annual awards gala at the Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia. As I mentioned in previous Friday Updates, Peggy was nominated for the 2019 Trusted Advisor award. Today, we are thrilled to announce that she won! This award was presented in recognition of her positive impact and mentorship to other women business owners. Congratulations to Peggy!

Peggy also presented the 2019 Advocate of the Year award to our nominee from Comcast, Ajamu Johnson. As Vice President of Procurement for Comcast NBCUniversal, Ajamu leads the team responsible for all supplier inclusion activities at one of the world’s largest companies. It was a wonderful evening of celebration all around!
